Hey guys.
Sorry I've been acting rather like a hermit...everything got busy all at once and I had nothing to submit.
I found out on the 2nd that I had swine flu (*gasp*) and pneumonia. Yeah yeah, the swine flu bit sucks, but the pneumonia...if you're going to go get yourself sick, don't get pneumonia. It's not friendly. Really.
I hope this journal doesn't generate any "Oh! I'm sorry! That's sucks! Get better!" kind of get well comments. By the time I was diagnosed I was already getting over it.
Sooooooo....
I'm pretty much "not allowed" to draw. My parents want me to spend every waking moment applying for scholarships. Don't get me wrong, scholarships are helpful, but I'm tired of not being able to draw. Heck, I even have that glittering bauble INSPIRATION and I'm not allowed to draw, and God knows I'm NEVER have inspiration.
Just trying to drag through. I'm hoping the fog clears soon.

HEY! Great stuff is starting to happen. For one, I have a flute solo in this year's marching show But secondly (and considerably more epic), I'm 1st chair 1st flute this year in Symphony Orchestra It's a HUGE jump from 2nd chair 3rd flute. *gnaws fingernails about importance of modesty*

School starts on the 9th. I'll be UBER busy with things for the first few weeks, but I'll get to drawing eventually. (Why do I always say that I'll get to drawing eventually...it's not like it matters...I'll get to it when I get to it XD ) Hope school/college/work is going well for you guys if you've started already

Expect some ink drawings in the near future. And not lamesauce lineart ink drawings either...I'm planning to work on some serious hard core ink drawings. GO INDA INK!!!

Band camp will start this week for me. Let there be MARCHING DRILL, SUNSCREEN, and LOUSY FOOD! *zap* I'll be disappearing from DA temporarily, but should be back right after camp (unless school starts right after...in which case I'll be on...eventually :/ )

Go see a marching band this school year, be it your college band, high school band, or even a drum corps () The bigger the audience, the more excited the band gets. Go show the local geeks some love!
